Chances are that you’ve probably heard people talking about what a great place Idaho is at some point. The truth is that Idaho is known as one of the most beautiful areas in the entire country for a reason. Beyond being just beautiful, it’s also known for being booming and entertaining.

In fact, this northwest state is known for being one of the best places to live in the United States. So, the next time that you plan a trip somewhere, you should plan on it being Idaho. Here is why.

Plenty Of Activities

If you’re the kind of person who loves to get out and active in the outdoors, then Idaho is your one-stop destination. Whether you want to go hunting, camping, hiking, or even kayaking, Idaho is a great place for all of those things.

Research shows that people who spend more time in nature tend to be more centered and stressed. Therefore, if you’re looking to simplify your life and reduce tension, then Idaho is a great choice for you.

On the other hand, Idaho has no shortage of other activities as well. There are plenty of cities that can offer less outdoorsy activities like shopping, seeing films, and fine dining. Regardless of what kind of activities you like, chances are that you’ll find it in Idaho.

National Parks

Idaho is home to some of the most incredible parks and monuments in the entire world. From incredible rock formations, to historical sites, you’ll find no shortage of history to admire.

If you’re a history buff, then you’ll love checking out all these different treasures which offer insight into the past of our nation.

Cute Towns

While much of the United States continues to evolve as time goes on, Idaho has magnificently conserved its early 20th-century appeal in many of its towns. Some parts of the state offer a walk back into time into some of the most memorable periods of architecture. If you’re someone who loves turn of the century charm, then you’ll get your fill in Idaho.

Fishing

If there is one place that’s known for its great fishing in the United States, it’s Idaho. In fact, as much as 70% of the United States trout come from the state of Idaho. Known for producing fat and happy fish, you’ll love throwing your cast somewhere like the Snake River Plain Aquifer and catching one of your own.

Less Stress

Big city living is known to make people more stressed in general. Idahoans are great at letting things slide and taking life day by day. People from Idaho are known for being friendly and not sweating the small stuff.

Check out Idaho for yourself, and find out that all the great things you’ve heard are true.
