Quickly Transform Your Living Space with Ikea Task Rabbit

If you have just moved into a new space, or you are planning on giving you home or apartment a makeover, one of your biggest concerns will be buying new furniture.

This can be difficult to do, especially when it comes to getting the furniture from a store to your home. Many people buy online for this reason, but this can lead to many problems. When shopping online you don’t get the opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ or give the item a good looking over and inspection before you make your purchase and go to the trouble of having the product delivered.

Ikea is one of the most popular furniture stores in the country and its large, warehouse-like stores give customers plenty of opportunities to inspect their products and give them a short trial. Here you can sit on sofas, lay upon beds, and even measure the constructed furniture to make sure it will fit in your space. Unfortunately, they do not deliver to customer’s homes.

This is where Ikea Task Rabbit from Shift can help. Their simple to use service can deliver goods bought from Ikea stores directly to your door, and even take them into your home for you, with no fuss or mess. They can even deliver your purchases on the same day you make them.

How Does Ikea Task Rabbit Work?

The Ikea Task Rabbit service is simple to use and a great idea, especially for consumers that don’t own their own car.

Ikea has teamed up with Shift to provide this service from some of its flagship stores across the country. You can go through the store and make your purchases without having to worry about how to get them home or whether they will fit in your vehicle. Shift will pick the products up from the store for you, on the same day in most instances, and deliver them securely to your home for you.

Which Stores Use the Service?

There are three Ikea stores offering the Ikea Task Rabbit service in partnership with Shift. You can buy Ikea products from their Warrington, Birmingham, and Lakeside outlets and have them delivered to your address by Shift.

There are two delivery zones around each store, an inner and an outer zone, and if your home is within either zone Shift and Ikea Task Rabbit can deliver them to your address.

What Are My Delivery Options?

You can have your items delivered to your home as a kerbside delivery, so you must bring the products into your home yourself, or you can nominate a room in your home for a small extra fee and the products will be delivered to this room in your home.

This is perfect for people who live on their own, or don’t feel comfortable lifting heavy boxes. You can even arrange a minicab through the service to take you home from the store while your packages are being picked up.

You can quickly and easily transform your living spaces thanks to the Ikea Task Rabbit service. You don’t need to worry about fitting boxes in your car or getting them into the house.
