3 Kitchen Gadgets to Buy in 2020

Anyone who loves spending time in the kitchen is no stranger to how useful certain kitchen gadgets can be. With so many different devices and appliances out there that can help you do everything from chop ingredients during meal prep to storing leftovers with a perfect vacuum seal, it can be easy to overcrowd your kitchen with such accessories.

The trick is to only invest in those devices that either accomplish tasks that you couldn’t otherwise do at home or that perform a job far better than you could ever do by hand. Here are three gadgets to purchase this year that will fit the bill.

1) A Soda Maker

One gadget that you will definitely want in your kitchen is a soda maker, and with so many models on the market, it can be tricky to find the best soda water makers. However, once you have found the one you want, you won’t regret your purchase.

Not only can these devices provide you with fresh and delicious soda that tastes exactly like your favorite soda that you would usually have to get from a store, but you can also adjust the flavor to suit your exact taste.

2) A Single-Serve Coffee Maker

Over 50% of American adults drink coffee every day. While there is nothing like having a fresh pot of coffee brewed in the morning, those who need an extra cup later on in the day might not love the thought of having to clean out and refill a standard drip coffee machine multiple times in the day. Moreover, this process can be even more inconvenient if you just want one cup of coffee in the afternoon, as opposed to an entire pot. This is where a single-serve coffee maker can help.

All you have to do is insert your coffee pod of choice and push a button. While the first popular models of these machines might have produced a drink that tasted more like a sub-par instant coffee, the newer machines are quite impressive. You can keep an array of pod flavors on hand so that you can have whatever hot drink you are craving throughout your day.

3) A Slow Cooker

If you have never enjoyed the convenience of adding a few ingredients to a slow cooker in the morning and returning to a fully cooked, delicious meal in the evening, then you are truly missing out. Slow cookers are among the top kitchen appliances that anyone with a busy schedule must have.

Particularly useful in the fall and winter months for hearty soups and stews, these gadgets make it easy to slow cook all types of recipes. Enjoy a perfectly roasted chicken or a tender, slow-cooked brisket. It is easy to find a variety of slow-cooker recipes that anyone can make, no matter how proficient you might be in the kitchen. You can’t go wrong with the original Crock Pot, although there are a number of quality brands out there that will do the job just fine.
